Have you evaluated ways to enhance the security within your garden? In some gardens, solid fence may be built to instill a sense of privacy. But privacy and security are not the same thing. Privacy does not intimidate intruders in any way. So how can you achieve security?

Motion Sensor Stainless Steel Pole Solar Light is a perfect choice to provide a sense of night security. Place each of them at the places most vulnerable to intruders such front areas surrounding short trees where intruders can use it as a natural ladder to climb over to your gardens. Planting thorny or sharp-leafed shrubs behind the fence also helps to deter intruders.

Global warming and rise in sea level are the avoidable cause and effect in our nature. The sea level has been rising year after year without stopping. With the global temperature on the rise, so does the rate at which iceberg melt into the sea in the North and South pole. The water temperature also rises to melt the iceberg under the sea. Imagine half of the earth water are buried under this iceberg and many low-lying cities, especially in Asia, will be submerged in the sea. Many experts have estimated that the ice in North Pole will be vanished by 2030. Still there is no sign of reaching a global agreement on how to stop global warming.
I am very concerned about the current changing face of our Mother Earth. Are the movies such as 2012 and The Day After Tomorrow truly projecting the fate of mankind being ignorant toward the alarming rate of this climate change? If these are the right prediction, we must help to make everyone awareness of the urgency to take action. Please help to spread this message to as much people as possible and encourage them to cut down power consumption and switch to
solar lights and other
solar powered devices to slow down the global warming.

Catching a glimpse of sun is always the last thing to do for many office-bound workers. I'm also one of them too. Most of us often were preoccupied with the most urgent tasks and continue to be dragged deeper and deeper into it so much so that we lost sight of the weather and the time of the day. Have we simply forgotten to bring ourselves back to the nature where we belong or we choose to be enclosed by the concrete world around us?
Take a moment to shift our eyes from the computer screen and let them see some greeneries. A moment of peacefulness and relief will fall on us. Blend ourself with the nature again to bring a sense of equilibrium within us. Take a step out of your workspace and go outdoor towards some flowers to appreciate its natural beauty. Place our nose near these flowers and enjoy the sweet scent in the air. Then take a very deep breath to feel the fresh air flows through our body. Taking a glimpse of the nature under a brilliant sunlight is what we need to revitalize our body and mind.
The next time you sat on your chair, turn around to take a glimpse of the sun and be aware of the weather and brightness. We are human beings and not robots. So always spare little moment to be with nature and be thankful of everything that the sun has offered us.

This article has been inspired by a special occasion when I'm leading a group of school children to see a Musical entitled "Duck and Dive - The ugly duckling and frog prince". The backdrop of many scenes, inspired by the natural habitat of the duckling and the frog, are the great display of nature wonders. When I follow through the whole play, an interesting thought pops up in my mind.
Do our future young generation has to enjoy the beauty of our nature in its original pristine state or they are only confined to see nature through such play due to human destruction of nature?
I feel strongly that all human beings have the responsibility to ensure our nature are well preserved to provide for the well-being of our future generation. Global warming can heat up our atmosphere to a state where no human beings, animals or plants can survive under direct exposure to the sun. In the end all living beings have to migrate underground or undersea to survive. The only chance to appreciate nature is through such play and other means that artificially emulate nature. I don't wish this scenario upon our future generation.
Let us do our part to ensure our nature exists as long as possible and preserve it for our future generation to appreciate. I truly hope all countries adopt solar power plant to stop the "coal burning" pollution to the atmosphere and every household adopt solar lights and other solar powered devices to tap on the cleaner source of electricity from the solar power.

Kids love to run around and explore anything they find in the outdoor and indoor area of your home and parks. Gardens are definitely the kids' favorite outdoor area as it stimulates kids' five senses. Plants such as flower provide great visual and scent stimuli to kids. Lighting devices in the garden always create curiosity kids and make kids touch and feel them with bare hands. How safe is your environment for your kids?
Once I was checking around a park and notice live wires sticking out of a non-solar lantern light. Immediately the thoughts of kids getting electrocuted by them scare the shit of out of me. True enough there are little kids getting closer and closer to it. Sure they stretch their hand almost touching these live wires. I have to jump in to block them just in time to prevent a disaster. The conventional lighting does need consistent maintenance to ensure live wiring do not get exposed and equipment is not short-circuited. It is also not easy to catch the right moment to detect the problem just in time before anyone get hurt by it. What are the best solution for these incidents?
Solar Lights are the best choice for outdoor lighting in the park as well as for home's garden. With no need to connect any wiring to live power socket, Solar Lights are safe to touch by our little kids and nice to look at especially at night when solar lights can turn on automatically upon detecting low lights. Solar Lights retrieves its power from a rechargeable battery that can be fully recharged by direct exposure to sunlight. Hence you can basically place Solar Lights anywhere remotely without worrying to find a power supply and kids' safety. Solar Lights certainly creates a hazard-free environment for our kids to grow and enrich their life.

A powerful green initiative has been launched by India and China as quoted by an article in The Straits Time newspaper from Singapore. China and India has led the world in renewable energy by getting bids to build Solar Power plant as a way to generate cleaner and greener source of energy. So what exactly is the finding on this case. Let review them now.
If the plan to build up one flies off, we can expect these solar plants to generate 100,000 megawatt of electricity, same output from 200 coal burning power station or 100 nuclear plants. Imagine the amount of carbon compound emitted to the atmosphere by these non-solar plants. It will sure keep on rising our atmosphere temperature and global warming symptom is deteriorating every second. If all these non-solar plants are gone, we can truly enjoy clear sky every day and fresher air too.
The technology behind these solar plants adopt either photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal. Most countries uses solar thermal as it uses cheaper polished metal mirror to reflect sunlight into fluid as compared to PV that uses expensive special grade silicon cell panel to convert sunlight into electricity. China and US prefer PV while others like India uses solar thermal.
No matter what technology is used, I'm already thrilled by the proposal of many countries to adopt
solar power plants as a future primary source of electricity. It is definitely an applausible effort towards making our Mother Earth a greener place to live in.

Excellent Customer service is always in my blood. This is really part of me as I've encountered an unforgettable dismay customer service experience in the past and recalling it really boils up my blood. I don't wish any of my customer to go through the same experience and I would ensure it will never happen.
I was attracted to a China website to purchase PS3 set due to its low price offer. After placing order, I did not receive any email confirmation. I have to ask for their response via email and they provide the payment Telegraphy Transmit (TT) detail. Once TT was done, they did not update me on any status and again I've to initiate a query. They respond 1 week later that money was transferred successfully and has arranged for shipped that they claim will take 45 days to ship. After 45 days, I did not receive any goods. So I trigger another query on the delivery and get no response for more than a week. Then they claim that freight forwarder have sent the goods wrongly to another country and still tracing back the items. They promised to update me once the goods has been found. After that reply, they never response to my further email and I've to given up on them totally.
It's a horrible experience for me. This is a true scapegoat among the online store and my own customer has also shared the same worry when dealing to supplier who undercut you with poor follow-up response after order. I vowed not to let my customer suffer like what I had and they only deserve my best attention for every stage of the ordering till delivery. Brilliant Solar Lights online store has received numerous testimonial on complimenting our high quality of customer service.

For past years, many homes in US have jumped into solar panels to tap on the solar energy. To some extent, sufficient level of electricity are still needed to power up more home. Will there be time that we can truly own a self-sufficient home that have no reliant on electricity?
Recently I read a newspaper article published in Singapore on a 3 storey "Zero Energy" building that is completely self-sufficient in meeting its power consumption. I'm amazed to learn that this building is full of different
green initiative. Its has solar panels at roof top and window covering an area larger than an olympic-sized swimming pools, powerful enough to light up 45 4-rooms apartment per year. Vertical greeneries on the external wall cools the interior temperate naturally down by 12 degree celsius. Lights can be directed into the top floor such that less artificial light is needed.
In a tropical island like Singapore, tapping its strong sunlight for whole year long is definitely a very wise choice. As a result of this
green initiative, significant saving can be achieved. Natural ventilation helps to reduce the the usage of air-conditioner by 40%. Total estimated saving on electricity is SGD$84,000.00 per year. With the strong support from government in leading "Zero Energy" initiative, a nation of cleaner air and greener environment has started to flourish and will lead the world into developing more greener "Zero-Energy" high-rising complex for the sake of environmental conservation.

Yes, I certainly don't have much time writing lengthy article. Let's get down to a message that I find it simple and an important one.
Mother Earth has been very forgiving till now. The flooded city of Philippines in the recent strings of Typhoon attack are a tell-tale sign that our weather had been in bad shape. Global warming caused the melting of iceberg in the north and south pole that rapidly rise the sea level posing an eminent danger of submerging low-lying cities under the sea. Is this irreversible? That depends on how much support majority of human being on earth are willing to cut down their electricity consumption.
Mother Earth used to protect us from harmful radiation but now Ozone is gradually being damaged. Our skins can now be exposed to a greater threat from skin cancer. If these Ozone layer keeps thinning, more people are going to die of cancers. We have to deal with the problem we have created through our ignorance.
Have you digested my message? It might be hard to take in but better be aware of it than watching it happening. The consequence can be irreverable once the damage picks up speed. Hence I wish all of you could put in some effort to turn around the current situation and bring Mother Earth back to its prestine state.

Whenever we are at outdoor, do we take a moment to appreciate the preciousness of sunlight or simply avoid sunlight by walking under shade? It is a pity that most people take sunlight for granted and underestimate the importance of its Solar Power. I hope this blog posting served as a reminder to appreciate the gift from our Sun.
Sunlight helps mankind in so much way. One of our main source of food namely vegetables and fruits grow on sunlight. Our air is clean up with fresh oxygen when sunlights shine on our plants. Our rivers flow through our land when sunlight melts the ice from snow mountains. Our skin produces vitamin D when exposed to sunlight. Don't you think we really owe a lot to the sunlight?
Instead of using this clean source of energy from the Sun, mankind now resorts to burn fuel and coals to generate electricity and in turn emits Carbon compounds to our atmosphere. This gives rise to Global Warming and really start damaging the ozone layer of our Mother Earth. If all of us start to embrace Solar Power, we are giving our Mother Earth the second chance to recover and rebuild her atmosphere.
To embrace the Solar Power, we can start off with a simple act of green by replacing electrical lights with
Solar Lights. Next switch electrical water pump with solar pump. We are living in this same atmosphere that we are destroying every minute. Does it make sense to protect this atmosphere by embracing Solar Power and replace electricity? If we want our future generation to enjoy the fruit of our conservation effort, start now at your own compound by embracing
solar lights.

For those of you who love kids, you have a new avenue for great innovative toys for older kids. There might be so many other toys that you have in mind that may be very entertaining. Besides being just entertaining, do you really think they will enrich the developing mind of our future generation? I have small kids too and I like to see them developed into a more creative adolescence that has a kind heart for any living things including our Mother Earth. Finding toys that promote such mindset is not an easy task. With the high penetration of solar technology into our modern society, solar powered gadgets have begun to emerge as a primary channel in providing environmental awareness for our future generation. I shall just focus on how
Solar Lights play a part in such awareness.
Building awareness in kids can be tackled from various angles in order to suit different needs of the new generation:
a) For kids who love water

You can plan some fun activities around the fountain or pond together your kids. For instance, create a nice mini “sail fair” by using water proof materials to make boats and sails, then let them float on the water together with some
brightly colored solar floating ball solar lights to make it more eye-catching. Install a solar powered water pump to generate water flow that will move the mini “sail” and solar ball light in motion. If there is some spare budget, place a
large fiberglass lighthouse solar light facing the water feature. At night, they will appreciate the true meaning of renewable energy when the solar floating ball solar lights turn on its colorful LED ball that help to shines on the mini sails and water fountain without any electrical power. The lighthouse solar light will produce a yellow glow and add on a sense of nostalgic. Take this opportunity to educate them on process of generating solar power and its benefit to the environment. It will be great bonus to me witnessing kids’ sheer excitement when these solar gadgets brighten up.
b) For kids who love nature

The greeneries are also wonderful platform to build kids’ creativity and love for nature. Start off with a simple touch of wilderness by letting your kids decorate the plants with
large butterfly string solar lights. Let them choose other insects such as
dragonfly and bee solar lights to jab up their creativity juice. Then let them spread some stone solar lights on the base of trees or on flower pots. When night falls on the garden, bring them out to explore those places where they place their solar gadgets. It will bring a new sense of joys on their face when they see their decoration brighten the gardens.
c) For kids who love pets

Kids can keep their little pets without the hassle of rearing them with
animal solar lights. Cute animals such as
Squirrel Solar Lights and
Rabbit Solar Lights are one of the favorite choices for kids. Encourage them to bring these animals out in the sun to charge up the solar rechargeable battery. In the evening, remind your kids to bring their “pets” back to their room and let their pets’ solar spot lights light up their bedroom up to 10 hours of continuous usage. This can encourage them to reduce the use of electricity and bring down your electrical tariff. If every kid in the world does his or her part in reducing the use of electricity, it will be a big step toward a carbon-free future and contribute towards
Billion Acts of Green by Earth Day 2010 on April 22, 2010.
I strongly welcome all of you to contribute more new ideas to instill environmental awareness in kids using solar lights and other solar gadgets. If we could start all our kids with these holistic approaches toward environment conservation, they could in turn play a major role in further preserving our Mother Earth in many years to come.

As a partner of the Earth Day Network, keeping myself update on the Earth Day announcement is part and parcel of my awareness towards going green in my life. There is one interesting articles on the 40th Anniversary Earth Day 2010 that will fall on 22 April 2010. I've extracted 2 paragraphs that summarize the key message as shown below:
"Earth Day has the power to bring about historic advances in climate policy, renewable energy and green jobs and catalyze millions who make personal commitments to sustainability - A Billion Acts of Green™ – mobilizing the power of people to create change by taking small steps in our homes, our schools and our businesses that add up to an enormous collective action.
Earth Day 40 is a pivotal opportunity for people, corporations, and governments to join together to create a global green economy. Our coordinated efforts now will be recognized by future generations as a turning point."
Personally I'm touched by the above wordings. However I'm also wondering how many of us are moved by these important messages that aims to project the potential of a massive collective action to turn our ailing environment around that can be seen as a "turning point" for our future generation. Are you willing to contribute toward the billion acts of Green? The answer is not really a choice but an obligation for all of us whose live depends on this Mother Earth.
For me, I will organize environment cleaning activities with my family members and friends to contribute to the Billion Acts of Green. I will also reduce the use of electricity to prevent more emission of carbon compound to our air from continual combustion of fuel. I'll use recycle paper through the whole day just to save a few trees. If everyone of us can do it, million of trees can be preserved and we will enjoy more fresh air. I'll use of solar lights to light up my indoor surrounding at night. This lists will continue to grow and will be fulfilled on the Earth Day 2010.
Share with me your thought about how you would contribute to Billions of Act of Green. With your permission, I shall publish all these acts on a special website as well as twitter to prompt more people to accept these acts and start to take actions too.

Writing blogs for me is not sort of "love at first sight". I admit that I never like to write blog consistently, especially more than once a week. But now I find myself producing them with true passion and original ideas. Where did I got such good motivation to write my blogs? Let me share my little personal thought and hopefully you will get an insight into my passion.
Honestly my initial motivation is solely for the purpose of promoting my solar business. Thanks to my business coach, I was convinced that writing blog is a must-have to bring up quality traffic to my website. I also realized that the sole aim of writing "Sales" blog will make my blogging passion burn out. Hence I start to search deeply within my heart for the real driving force to do solar business. After a few twist in my blogging style, I start to realize my passion towards solar business is the deep love for preserving nature and environment. I decided that whatever blog I write I will incorporate a deep sense of nature appreciation and go green concepts.
With the advent in solar lights, there are so many possibility to incorporate energy saving with preserving the original state of nature. I'm truly impressed and excited with the amazing range of solar lights' design that makes interesting garden themes possible. My excitement naturally flows into the words I used in blog.
Deep inside me, I feel I'm holding an important responsibility in educating the general public on the awareness of environment conservation and to rid of the root cause of pollution from combustion of fuel and coal. With the increasing wide use of renewable energy such as solar power, wind power and water power, I believe the amount of pollutants in the air has gradually declined and the effort in preserving a better living environment for our future generation will eventually pay off. I urge each of you to pledge your hearts to protect our Mother Earth and supporting Earth Day Network wholeheartedly in their global conservation effort for the sake of our future generation.
