Privacy Vs Security - Which will make home safe?

I have recently read a book on garden landscaping and what caught my attention is on a page that explains how privacy is not the same as security. I would also like to contribute some of my thoughts to this topic by further differentiating privacy and security. It is important and essential to introduce privacy to allow us enjoy quiet time together with our family without the prowling eyes from the street or neighbors.
